After being taken by surprise by my own film experience, I was shocked at the lack of support and evidence-based information available about a filmmaking career. Aiming to change the way people receive information and advice I set up Raindance in 1992 and the British Independent film Awards in 1998.There was so much to do. I want to make sure we continues to help creatives across the world, and that's where Raindance comes in. We're here to make sure that filmmaking is an opportunity, not an ending.
